SummationWorks ("we," "our," or "us") operates mobile applications and web services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use any of our applications or services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account data: We use anonymous authentication (Firebase Authentication) to create a session. We do not require your name, email, or password.
  • User-generated content: Photos or images you submit for AI analysis are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers after processing is complete.
  • Health and cycle data: If our app includes cycle or health tracking features, this data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly choose to sync it.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: Device model, operating system version, and a non-identifiable device fingerprint for abuse prevention.
  • Usage analytics: We collect anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, features used, session duration) to improve the app experience.
  • Crash reports: Automatic crash and error reports help us identify and fix bugs.

  • To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
  • To display relevant advertisements (free-tier users only)

3. Third-Party Services

Our applications integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Google Firebase(Authentication, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions, App Check) — Firebase Privacy Policy
  • Google Gemini AI (Image analysis and chat) — Google AI Terms
  • RevenueCat(Subscription and purchase management) — RevenueCat Privacy Policy
  • Google AdMob(Advertising for free-tier users) — Google Privacy Policy
  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store(Payment processing) — governed by Apple and Google's respective privacy policies.

4. Data Retention

  • Images: Photos submitted for AI analysis are processed in memory and discarded immediately. We do not store your images.
  • Analytics data: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data is retained for up to 14 months.
  • Account data: Anonymous authentication tokens are retained while your account is active.
  • Local data: App data stored on your device (preferences, history, health data) remains until you delete the app or clear its data.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), Firebase App Check for API authentication, server-side AI processing (API keys are never embedded in the app), and rate limiting to prevent abuse. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

8. Advertising

Free-tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States (Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
